Diosterol Dioscorea Nipponica Makino 50-67:1 Extract:

Diosterol is a very concentrated (50–66.7:1) extract of the yam species Dioscorea nipponica Makino. It has been used in Chinese medicine for a long time. It contains standardized amounts of steroidal saponins such dioscin and protodioscin, which are supposed to help make testosterone, increase anabolic activity, and help the body break down fat. There is scant clinical evidence in humans to substantiate the anti-obesity, lipid-lowering, and perhaps hormone-modulating benefits indicated by animal and in vitro studies. Even though it is mostly sold as a natural testosterone booster and performance enhancer, it hasn't been evaluated well for safety, effectiveness, or long-term consequences in people.

26-[(β D-glucopyranosyl) oxy]-22α-hydroxyfurosta-5,25(27)-dien-1β,3β,11α-triol:

The steroidal saponin glycoside 26-[(β D-glucopyranosyl) oxy]-22α-hydroxyfurosta-5,25(27)-dien-1β,3β,11α-triol may not be a well-studied compound in isolation, but its structural class (fur stanol-type steroidal saponins), which is present in plants such as Dioscorea (yams), Tribulus terrestris, and fenugreek, has been linked to a number of bodybuilding and fitness-related effects. Most of the evidence that supports 26-[(β D-glucopyranosyl) oxy]-22α-hydroxyfurosta-5,25(27)-dien-1β,3β,11α-triol is indirect and comes from other steroidal saponins. However, it may help with bodybuilding by boosting testosterone, fat metabolism, recovery, and controlling inflammation. Its effects are likely minor, and more research is needed to confirm its real impact on performance, strength, or muscle growth. It works nicely as an extra for natural support.

Iridoid Glycosides:

Iridoid glycosides are a group of natural chemicals called monoterpenoids that are present in a lot of different kinds of plants. They have a cyclopentanopyran ring structure that is connected to a sugar, usually glucose, which sets them apart. They are important secondary metabolites that often taste bitter. They are the building blocks of alkaloids and protect plants from illnesses and herbivores. They are beneficial in both traditional and modern medicine because they have a wide range of pharmacological effects, including as anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, antibacterial, neuroprotective, and antioxidant effects. Some well-known examples are oleuropein, loganin, harpagoside, aucubin, and catalpol.

Diosgenin and 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin Acetate:

Diosgenin is a naturally occurring steroidal sapogenin that is highly valued as a pharmaceutical precursor for making steroid hormones like progesterone and corticosteroids. It has also been linked to possible anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and metabolic health benefits. 5α-hydroxy laxogenin acetate, on the other hand, is a synthetic version of plant-based sapogenins, mostly from Smilax spp. It is sold as a "natural anabolic" in supplements that may help with muscle growth, protein synthesis, and recovery. But scientific studies haven't yet shown that it's safe or works well enough.
